What truck will it fit?

The truck must have a flatbed and a payload capacity of 1800 lb or more depending on how you pack.  The demo model weighs 1750 lb fully loaded. The base of the camper is approximately  83" (L) x 75" (W). In order for the included ladder to be lowered, the camper must extend over the back of the bed by about 3", but the tie downs at the rear corners will have to angle forward or the bed anchor points extended to the rear. Consult a metal fabricator to see if the bed can be lengthened.  The demonstration truck currently being constructed has a  82 7/8" (L) x 76" (W) flatbed. Ideal dimensions are 80"(L)x77"(W).

Trucks come in multiple configurations with  a range of carrying capacities. The Ford Ranger is best in class at 1860 lb. It also depends on how heavy the flatbed is: remember that the stock bed is removed, but the flatbed can weigh less, the same or more than the stock bed depending on construction.  For those trucks with payload capacity less than 1800 lb, overloads or upgraded springs will be necessary. If going on washboard roads, shock upgrades are recommended.

How much does the camper weigh?

According to the manufacturer, the shell weighs 750lb, without any of the interior or standard accessories. The demo model weighs 1750lb fully loaded, which is the more important figure. This includes everything necessary to go camping: a full tank of water, battery, food, accessories, clothing, chainsaw and various tools. The jack stands are not included.

The campers as delivered weigh 1350lb, with the jack stands x 4 weighing 108lb.

Remember to consider the spare tire, extra fuel, Hi-Lift jack etc.

The water tank is 18.5 gallons and water weighs 8.35lb per gallon for a total of 154lb. A 20lb propane tank (not included) weighs about 30lbs.

Lithium 100 ah batteries weigh around 30lb, whereas lead acid 100ah batteries weigh around 60-75lb.

What about delivery?

1. If you live in Oregon, the camper can be delivered to you or if you are within 8 hours driving distance of Bend, Oregon.
2. You can come pick it up. If bolting the camper to your existing flatbed, this is the easiest option. If using the included clamps and brackets, then the bed width need to be 75"-80" wide. The length of the bed can be longer or shorter. 
3. The camper can be delivered via transport service of your choosing.

Does this camper come with integrated electrical systems pre-installed?

Solar 200W, inverter/charger 2000W, 110 volt outlets x 2, shore power 30amps, but no battery. The solar charger is compatible with lithium.

What should I know for mounting compatibility?

The base is 75"W x 39"H x 83"L.  The top is 124" in length.   You might want to make the flat bed longer to store spare tire and recovery gear between the front of the camper and the back of the cab. The camper comes with tie downs, but some owners have drilled through the floor and clamped directly to the bed.

What are your prices?

$18,500 fully equipped. You only need to add your choice of 1-2 batteries, which can be lead acid, AGM or Lithium. Lithium costs more, but lasts much longer, is much lighter (31 pounds), charges much more quickly and discharges completely. I personally use Battle Born 100Ah 12V LiFePO4 Heated Deep cycle Battery (on sale $949). It is self heated which enables use and charging in freezing weather without damage. It is guaranteed with a 10 year warranty and life expectancy is 3000 - 5000 cycles.

Why is "Optimized" the best overland camper?

Overlanding is the travel into remote regions far from any services. You need to take everything necessary to last a week and get yourself out of trouble. The journey is the goal, not so much the destination. This requires long distances and constant movement. Light weight is paramount. The light weight minimizes the necessity of suspension modifications, you can travel quickly, get stuck less often, climb steeper hills and fuel mileage is maximized to travel further.

The second most important feature is quick set up and break down, so you can move with just a few minutes of effort. Food access, recovery gear and tools can be immediately accessed from outside without having to raise the roof.

Capacity is maximized by the flatbed design. They have plenty of storage space which can be additionally customized to your specifications.

The campers are made of 3mm aluminum so they are strong, but light weight.

They come with high quality, efficient electrical system with 200W solar, using an MPPT charger compatible with Lithium batteries. There are two 120V outlets to plug in electrical devices, in addition to two USB. The inverter is 2000W pure sinewave, which is highly efficient. Shore power 30 amp charger is installed.

The camper comes equipped with 18.5 gallon water tank, water heater for shower, efficient refrigerator, 20 pound propane capacity and outdoor flood lighting. The awning can be deployed to block the sun or keep you dry.

In summary, you can drive faster, steeper, longer, set-up/break down with minimal effort putting you back on the trail, covering more ground.

Jack stands: 85 1/2" apart.

If using the supplied bracket and hooks, the width should be between 75" and less than 85 1/2". If bolting the camper to the bed, the width can be less than 75". The length of the bed can be shorter or longer than the base length of 83" whether using the supplied brackets and hooks or bolting.

If the bed is 8' or 96", this gives the option of placing the camper more towards the rear and leaving space for the spare tire between the truck cab and front of the camper.
