Will my truck carry this shell?
The shell is 1,250 lb dry. You need about 1,800 lb of unused payload after people are in the seats. The only exact number is on the driver’s door sticker: “combined weight of occupants and cargo.” This form estimates. It does not replace that sticker.
Unused payload = door-sticker lb minus (people × 150).
- 1,800 lb or more unused: the truck can likely carry the $19,500 shell. We still want a photo of the sticker.
- 1,500 to 1,799: too close. Send the sticker photo and we will talk through passengers, water, and battery.
- Under 1,500: this shell is too heavy for that truck. We can talk 3/4-ton options or a different platform.

Passengers, a canopy, a lift, extra fuel, and a winch all eat the sticker number. A “max payload” in an ad is almost never a 4x4 crew cab with options.
